The Boys very quickly established itself as one of Prime Video's greatest assets after its debut, and the second season landed at a time when many counties were either in Covid lockdowns or restricted where they could , or more importantly, couldn't go, which means a lot more people discovered the series in 2020. Now also an animated spin-off, The Boys season 3 is coming soon, and showrunner Eric Kripke has teased the fans on Twitter with an update on where post-production on the new season is at and when a trailer is likely to arrive.
