Brie Larson said, “They are like nothing else. Huge sets. A lot of people on the set. Many specialists, it is a truly unique experience. I'm a huge Disneyland fan so for me I feel like I go to my own private Disneyland every day. Because they're building all these crazy worlds that no one else knows, that no one else can see. You'll see it when the movie comes out but for now it's just mine. I am in bigger settings than you can imagine right now. It really is special. "
What started out as simply Captain Marvel 2 changed its title to Wonders once Disney's list of Marvel projects became more widely known last year. With Ms. Marvel TV series slated to premiere at the end of the year, or maybe now at the end of the year, and feature Inman Vellani's Kamala Kahn in the MCU , and WandaVision having given Monica Rambeau his own superpowers, The Wonders is going to be a team of mighty proportions when he arrives in November 2022.
The film is currently sitting like another unknown in terms of plot or cast outside of the three main female roles. It has been suggested that Jude Law will be back to reprise his role as Yon_Rogg, but that's far from confirmed at this time. With the current wave of Marvel movies serving either as an introduction to new characters, such as Eternals , or Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings , or being tied to the expansion of the multiverse, as is the case with Spider-Man: No Path Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness , it's hard to see where Wonders will fit into these themes.
One thing we'd expect is that after heavily featuring the Skrulls in Captain Marvel , the sequel is likely to be tied to the Secret Invasion TV series that we know are happening right now. As with everything Marvel does, there will undoubtedly be other ties, either straight into the movie or as post-credit scenes that haven't yet been revealed, but by then Wonders will be out. in theaters over a year from now there will be a lot more answers, and of course a different set of questions, to keep fans enthralled with what's to come. Les Merveilles is currently slated to premiere in theaters on November 11, 2022.
